Fr. Fredrick ADAMSON

Bio

Fr. Fredrick J. Adamson was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Phoenix on June 3, 1995. He has served as Parochial Vicar at St. Theresa Parish, Phoenix and Our Lady of Joy Parish, Carefree, and as Pastor of Resurrection Parish, Tempe. He was appointed Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia on July 1, 2004.

He serves on several diocesan committees and councils in his role including the Diocesan Finance Council and the Diocesan Presbyteral Council.

A graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and St. John’s Seminary, Camarillo, California with a Master’s in Divinity Degree. He worked for five years as a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Cardiovascular Intensive Care.

He attended Arizona State University’s Center for Nonprofit Leadership and Management. He is a member of the Equestrian Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem and the Knights of Columbus.

Fr. Adamson was reared in Southwest Michigan and is the oldest of four children.
