Bio
Dr. Clint Leonard is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in Gilbert, Arizona. He and his wife Kathryn have five children and attend St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Dr. Leonard is the founder of 2 mission-driven medical practices: Morning Star OB/GYN in 2005 and more recently, Morning Star Pediatrics. Both seek to provide excellent, state-of-the-art care with reliably ethical and compassionate care in the Catholic tradition. He performs surgeries and attends deliveries at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert.
Originally from Kansas, he received his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 2001. He completed residency with the Phoenix Integrated Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maricopa Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Hospital in June, 2005. He has been a teacher of the Billings Ovulation Method of NFP since 2000, completed the Creighton Model FertilityCare Medical Consultant program in 2001, and has received specialized training in ethics and laparoscopy.
Dr. Leonard is a member of the Catholic Medical Association and has served on the Medical Ethics Board of the Diocese of Phoenix since 2009. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Maggie’s Place, a home for pregnant women; on the parish council for St. Mary Magdalene; and the Board of Directors for Spectrum Medical Plaza.
Formed in the Catholic tradition, Dr. Leonard embraces a holistic view of the human person and takes a life-affirming approach to sexuality and fertility. With this personal approach, the women, children and families of Morning Star OB/GYN and Morning Star Pediatrics have been well-served.
