Want to be a TLI mentor?
YOUR ROLE AS A MENTOR
As a seasoned Catholic leader, you play a critical role in helping to develop future leaders through experienced leadership development, career guidance, as well as spiritual direction. Your role as a mentor is to encourage, support, counsel, and pray for your assigned mentee(s) – for the fulfilment of his/her leadership commitment and a deepening of his/her spiritual life.
CRITERIA FOR MENTORS
- Must be at least 40 years old
- Must be a well-formed Catholic
- Must profess fidelity to the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Must desire to build-up the Body of Christ by mentoring future Catholic leaders
MENTOR DUTIES
More details, along with a copy of the program curriculum and assigned readings will be provided once the program starts. These are some of the expectations for our TLI mentors:
- Initiate contact with mentee to schedule virtual meetings (Start the first week of February)
- Conduct at least two meetings per month over the course of 5-months (20 minute meetings)
- First meeting should consist of introductions to get to know each other, prayer, and building trust
- On subsequent meetings begin with prayer and then discuss the following:
