Bio

Adrian Alarcon is the director of media relations for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and has served in that capacity for the past five years. Adrian began her career 13 years ago in the nonprofit health sector focused on social marketing and Hispanic outreach. She has worked at top public relations firms including Edelman and Burson-Marsteller. Adrian’s work has been recognized by the Public Relations Society of America, PR Week and the Hispanic Public Relations Association.

Adrian’s areas of communications expertise include public health, nonprofit, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach with bachelor’s degrees in Public Relations and Spanish. Adrian is happily married to her college sweetheart and together they have an almost 2-year-old daughter and German shepherd. Adrian entrusts her career and family life to the care and protection of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
