Cindy Leonard

Bio

Cindy Leonard is a wife and mother of five grown children who she enjoyed homeschooling while also coordinating and teaching Science for many years in grade schools. She loves reading, swimming, hiking, biking and sailing with her active family.

Cindy is a trained catechist for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program and built the atria and directed that program at St. Agnes School in Phoenix for many years.

Cindy Leonard has taught Northwest Family Service’s SymptoPro NFP method with her husband, Mike, for over 35 years. From 2007 to 2019 Cindy directed the Office of NFP for the Diocese of Phoenix, where NFP is a required course for marriage preparation.

She also co-developed and coordinated the Diocese of Phoenix teen leadership program for remote marriage preparation: Catholic Academy for Life Leadership. Cindy has an active position on the National NFP Advisory Board for the NFP Program in the Secretariat of Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth of the USCCB where she assists Diocesan NFP Coordinators in the USCCB Endorsement Process.
