Bio

Dr. Stuart Squires is the Associate Director of the Center for Faith and Culture, and Associate Professor of Theology at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. He earned his Ph.D. in historical theology from The Catholic University of America, his M.A. from the University of Chicago, and his B.A. from DePaul University.

Dr. Squires has published a book with Wipf and Stock titled The Pelagian Controversy: An Introduction to the Enemies of Grace and the Conspiracy of Lost Souls. He also has published academic articles with The Heythrop Journal, Augustinianum, Cistercian Studies Quarterly, Scottish Journal of Theology, and Augustiniana. He also has published popular magazine articles with America Magazine, New Oxford Review, and Crisis Magazine.

He hosts the podcast God and the Quad, that explores questions of the faith and culture in our world today.

Dr. Squires also taught English as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
