Bio
Gary Livacari is currently a vice president for a major bank and has held positions with increasing levels of responsibility in corporate and commercial finance for nearly 10 years. Gary has deep knowledge in public and municipal finance. As a corporate banker at PNC Bank in Chicago (PNC is one of the top 5 largest banks in the U.S. by asset size) from 2010-2014, Gary managed complex, multi-million dollar credit and capital markets transactions for large government clients, including the State of Wisconsin, City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority, City of Chicago and the County of DuPage, IL which is one of Chicagoland’s largest counties. He was responsible for building out PNC’s public finance business in its newly acquired Illinois and Wisconsin markets in the wake of the 2007-2009 financial crisis.
Gary served on the advance teams for two national presidential campaigns and on the speechwriting and legislative affairs staffs for the cabinet secretaries at the U.S. Departments of Commerce and Education in the George W. Bush Administration.
Gary graduated from The George Washington University in 2007 with a B.A. summa cum laude in Political Communication and Economics. He is also a graduate of the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy where he received a Masters Public Policy in 2009.
Gary serves on the pastoral council at St. Mary Magdalene in Gilbert, and is a member of the Industrial Development Authority Board at the Town of Gilbert. He is a former commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserves. He is married with 5 children.
