Bio

Joe O’Farrell, With nearly 20 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit leadership, Joe has led multi-million dollar development efforts with numerous Catholic organizations.

As Vice President for Mission Advancement for EWTN Joe was their first chief development officer. He presided over a 30% increase in overall funding and raised over $250 million dollars in his nearly five years at the network. An expert in major gifts fundraising and Catholic media Joe advises clients on traditional development methods as well as the use of new emerging technologies to connect with donors.

Previously Joe served as Director of Programs and Development for the MBA program at the Cox Family Enterprise Center at the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. Additionally, Joe has held staff and leadership roles in five presidential campaigns, advised several candidates on Catholic strategy, and served as deputy press secretary to the former Governor of Georgia.

Joe earned a B.A. in American Literature and American History from Bradford College in Haverhill, MA. Joe and his wife Kersti are raising their five children in Birmingham, Alabama.
