Bio
Nora Urrea currently serves as the National President of Family Enrichment USA. Under the auspices of the International Federation for Family Development, Family Enrichment operates in over 80 countries helping to provide leadership training and parenting education to families throughout the world. Its goal is to strengthen marriages and family life to help promote a better society.
She is also honored to serve as a Trustee of the Dan Murphy Foundation whose primary goal is to provide grants in support of education and faith formation in the diocese of Los Angeles. Nora is a founding member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders, an organization whose mission is to help its members deepen their knowledge of the Faith, and to serve the local church in evangelization projects. She has served as Treasurer and Finance Chair of CALL and is currently serving her 10th year on the National Board.
Nora attended USC and received a B.S. in Biological Sciences. She went on to receive an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA where she studied management consulting and marketing.
In 2013 Nora received her Master’s in Marriage and Family from the University of Navarre in Spain, where she trained to be a family educator. Since then, she has focused her spare time giving talks to parents about improving character development in children and promoting a family centered culture.
For the past 30 years she has worked for the family business as Administrator of Soledad Eye Surgeons Medical Group. She and her husband, Paul, have been married for 39 years and are the proud parents of five grown children.
